Fun in the rain

It's fort day today if you're following along with Nurture Store's Simple play:: complex learning series, we didn't make a fort however we did set up a tent!

Bubbles asked if we could have afternoon tea at the park today-when I said we could as long as it wasn't raining she simply replied, "If it's raining we could just take a tent, wouldn't that be a good idea?" So, we ended up being that crazy family who took their kids out in the rain and set a tent up at the park in the rain!

I have no idea what the neighbours thought when they saw us but the girls enjoyed walking to the park with their umbrella's and sitting in their tent and eating their afternoon tea listening to the rain.

So tell me, are we the only weird ones? Have you ever walked your kids to the park in the rain?
